Long time no see. I’ve been super busy. I was feeling pretty overwhelmed for a while and felt that I had to take a step (or two) back from certain hobbies just to give my head a rest.

I’ve recently started picking up learning guitar. I have a simple steel-string acoustic which hurts the fingers but pleases the ears. The notes ring clear as my fingers grace across the strings.
I love playing the guitar, and I look forward to practicing it on a daily basis. My large hands afford me the finger strength necessary to play difficult chords, and I have enough alone time that the occasional discordant f*ck-up doesn’t disturb anyone around me.

The night is cold, dark, and empty.
The moon is perched above a single barely visible cloud, accompanied by no more than a few glistening stars. The wind rustles through the trees outside my apartment window mimicking the sound of waves rummaging in the deep, dark sea.
